Unless otherwise notified, all students must be in uniform from the first to the last day of school. Your school uniform signifies that you are a member of the Holy Spirit community and confirms your attendance at the school. The uniform reduces non-academic distractions and minimizes the difference in socioeconomic status between peers. It is important that you take pride in your appearance by wearing your complete uniform and always representing Holy Spirit School with honor, both within the school and out in the community.

• BOYS

  • Maroon polo shirt (short sleeve or long sleeve) with embroidered Holy Spirit; Maroon turtleneck optional (Nov.1-Apr.15)
  • Gray uniform trousers; gray uniform shorts (Sept-Oct./April 16-June)
  • V-neck cardigan sweater or pullover sweater with embroidered Holy Spirit
  • Holy Spirit sweatshirts/hoodies (basketball, Performing Arts, etc.) are ONLY to be worn in the classroom on gym or tag days.
  • All black uniform shoes. Sneaker type shoes are acceptable if all black, no color/white stripes, soles ,laces or any added details.  NO Crocs, Uggs, slippers, boots, or flip flops/slides are permitted.
  • Hair must not touch the top of the collar of their shirt or go below the eyebrows.
  • Ponytails, mohawks, buns, etc. are not permitted.
  • No earrings are permitted.

• GIRLS

  • Grades K-3: plaid belted tunic with white Peter Pan collared blouse, maroon polo shirt, or maroon turtleneck.
  • Grades 4-8: plaid wrap around kilt with maroon polo shirt (short sleeve or long sleeve), maroon turtleneck; Skirts must be no shorter than 3” above the knee.
  • V-neck cardigan sweater or pullover sweater with embroidered Holy Spirit
  • Holy Spirit sweatshirts/hoodies (basketball, Performing Arts, etc.) are ONLY to be worn in the classroom on gym or tag days.
  • All: Uniform trousers (Nov.1-April 15th) or uniform skort or shorts (Sept-Oct./April 16th-June)
  • Socks/tights must be maroon, gray, or white. NO LEGGINGS.
  • All black uniform shoes. Sneaker type shoes are acceptable if all black, no color/white stripes, soles, laces or any added details.  NO Crocs, Uggs, slippers, all boots, or flip flops/slides are permitted.
  • May not wear makeup.
  • No dangling earrings. 
  • Only clear nail polish is permitted, including on fake/press on nails.
  • Hair accessories must be in school colors or from the uniform store.

Order Form/Information

School Sweaters:
School sweaters are optional and must be purchased from the uniform company. Only sweatshirts sold thru school will be permitted to be worn during the school day only on student’s gym day.

Gym Uniforms:

• Physical Education classes will begin the 2nd full week of school. On gym day, the children should wear their gym clothes which consists of:
• Gray School T-Shirts or Performing Arts T-Shirts
• Gray School Gym Pants or Plaid Flannel School Pants
• Maroon School Gym Shorts from Sept. until Nov. 15th and from April 15th until end of school.
• Approved School Sweatshirts
• Sneakers must have laces or Velcro. Slip on sneakers are not permitted.

1 st incident of noncompliance – A written notice will be sent home to be signed by parent and to be returned to school.

2 nd incident of noncompliance – The student will be sent to the office, parents/guardians will be called.
